FREE YouTube Video Year 1 Termly Maths PowerPoint Assessments

FREE YouTube Video Year 1 Termly Maths Assessments I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos PowerPoint Combos. This means teachers can teach the lesson using either the PowerPoint or Youtube version of the lesson and then share the YouTube lesson with their students’ parents. This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework. While the Wigan LEA website disappeared, taking all its maths resources with it, I kept a copy and then made a complete set of PowerPoint Maths assessments I want to share with everyone. These would be great for revising for the KS1 SATs tests. There are two different formats, you can either show them a question, then let them work out the answer and check their answers, or you can show them each question in turn and set them sme time to find the answer and then ask them the next question until you finish the test. I have also included the original test papers for teachers who want to print out all the test papers and answers all in one go. I hope you find them as useful as I do with my own class.

FREE Year 6 Termly Maths Assessment using YouTube and PowerPoint Presentations I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos PowerPoint Combos. This means teachers can teach the lesson using either the PowerPoint or Youtube version of the lesson and then share the YouTube lesson with their students’ parents. This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework. I have always used the Wigan Maths Tests to prepare the students for their final exams. However, I wanted to improve it, so that I could ask a question and discuss the answer directly on the whiteboard and so I rewrote the tests as PowerPoint presentations. The students could do it together in the classroom or take them home as additional revision.

I love writing for the TES and it does make up a substantial part of my monthly salary. I originally write a book to help people get started. I have now written a second short book to help people take their original TES teaching resources and make them sparkle a little bit more to help them get better sales. I consider myself a successful TES Gold Author and I am now wanting to share my wealth of ideas, resources and links for FREE with other TES users to help them to become a successful TES author and also to help guide them on the first steps towards success... This book tells them why they should become a TES author, where to find ideas to turn into presentations, where to find the free images which will help them to make their presentations a success and how to promote their work so that it becomes a highly sought after resource. Try it today. I love being a TES author and it is certainly a passion for me. I want others to now also follow in my footsteps and also become successful and happy TES authors, the easy way!

Year 5 Block 1 Termly Wigan Maths Assessment using YouTube and PowerPoint Presentation.

Year 5 Block 1 Termly Wigan Maths Assessment using YouTube and PowerPoint Presentation. I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos PowerPoint Combos. This means teachers can teach the lesson using either the PowerPoint or Youtube version of the lesson and then share the YouTube lesson with their students’ parents. This lesson can then be repeated at home as additional homework. I love Year 5 Wigan Maths Tests. While they are little old and don’t follow the current curriculum, they are still an excellent set of tests for revision purposes. I have taken the traditional tests and converted them all into PowerPoint presentations. On top of this, I have given teachers the option of either letting the students only see the answers at the end or after each question. I really like the second option as it means I can set a question, then give them a little time to think about it or discuss it in pairs and then show them the answer and discuss the different ways different children or different pairs found their answers. This is as much a learning experience as the test itself for many children. I really hope this pack is useful for lots of teachers.

I have created 15 anti-war slogan posters which teachers are free to use, discuss and share in their classrooms. They are a great way for launching and supporting classroom discussions. Why do people go to war? Is there such a thing as a just war? Is there always a solution which does not involve violence? If you like these posters, please take the time to leave a nice comment, share and distribute these resources to others. Year 2 Block 3 Termly Maths Assessments: Enhancing Learning with YouTube and PowerPoint Presentations In this digital age, it’s essential to provide flexible and accessible learning resources for both teachers and students. I am now converting all my PowerPoint presentations into YouTube videos as part of a new initiative called PowerPoint Combos. This innovative approach allows teachers to teach the lesson using either the traditional PowerPoint format or the engaging YouTube version. By utilizing YouTube, teachers can share the lesson with their students’ parents, creating an opportunity for collaboration between home and school. This means that the lesson can be easily repeated at home as additional homework, reinforcing the concepts learned in class and providing students with a valuable opportunity to practice at their own pace. Why is Mental Math Important? Mental math skills are crucial for young learners, especially in Year 2. Here are some key reasons why mental math is important: Foundation for Future Learning: Strong mental math skills provide a solid foundation for more complex mathematical concepts in later grades. It helps students develop a deeper understanding of numbers and operations. Improved Problem-Solving Skills: Mental math encourages students to think critically and develop problem-solving strategies. It teaches them to approach problems from different angles and find efficient solutions. Increased Confidence: As students become proficient in mental math, they gain confidence in their abilities. This confidence can positively impact their overall attitude towards math and learning in general. Real-World Application: Mental math is not just an academic skill; it’s a practical one. Students will use these skills in everyday situations, such as budgeting, shopping, and cooking. Enhanced Cognitive Skills: Engaging in mental math activities improves cognitive functions such as memory, attention, and concentration. These skills are beneficial across all subjects and areas of life. By incorporating mental math into the Year 2 Block 3 Termly Maths Assessments and utilizing the YouTube and PowerPoint Combo approach, we are setting our students up for success. Together, let’s empower our young learners with the skills they need to thrive in mathematics and beyond!
